Cocktails from "The Simpsons"

This is the first video in my "Recreated" playlist, where I recreate drinks from TV shows or movies. Here we recreate a few cocktails from the Simpsons, and then make an improved version.

EQUIPMENT

1. Cocktail set (Includes Boston shaker, jigger bar spoon, hawthorne strainer, muddler)
2. Angled measuring jigger 
   • Version using ml measurements
3. Coupe glass

Flaming Homer

• 4oz (120ml) tequila
• 4oz (120ml) creme de menthe
• 4oz (120ml) peppermint schnapps
• 2oz (60ml) children's cough syrup  

1. Add all ingredients to a blender
2. Pour into a glass
3. Try (and fail) to light it on fire
4. Try and sip and then discard the rest down the drain

Improved Flaming Homer

• .75oz (22ml) creme de violette
• .75oz (22ml) Cointreau
• .75oz (22ml) dry gin
• .75oz (22ml) lime juice

1. Add all ingredients to a shaker tin
2. Strain into a couple glass
3. Create a lime boat with half a lime
4. Drop in some 151 proof rum or lemon extract
5. Light lime boat on fire and serve
6. Let flame burn out before drinking

Skittlebräu

• 1 can of beer
• 1 pack of Skittles

1. Pour some Skittles into glass
2. Pour beer into glass
3. Stir, and taste the boozy rainbow

Improved Skittlebräu (ginger shandy)

• 1 bottle of hefeweizen beer
• 1/2 of lemon
• 1 bottle of ginger beer

1. Squeeze lemon juice into glass
2. Pour in beer
3. Add ginger beer to taste
4. Garnish with lemon wedge and enjoy
